About the Program

In a landmark collaboration between the WABIP and LIV Hospital, Istanbul, the first Interventional Pulmonology Institute (IPI) has been launched. This initiative brings together leading experts from across the globe to deliver an unrivaled training program in interventional pulmonology. The IPI is committed to providing free, high-quality education to doctors from developing countries, aiming to foster knowledge exchange and skill development without geographical or political boundaries.

Applying for the Fellowship

This Fellowship Program is open to pulmonologists and thoracic surgeons worldwide. The fellowship begins on October 1st, 2023, with new opportunities every three months. Application deadlines are as follows:

• For October 1st Start: Apply by July 1st
• For January 1st Start: Apply by September 1st
• For April 1st Start: Apply by December 1st
• For July 1st Start: Apply by March 1st
