Dear Member of the WABIP, We want to express our sincere concern for everyone who has been impacted by COVID-19. While the situation around the world is becoming more complex, we continue to monitor events closely and follow the guidance of individual WABIP members like you, who represent one of over 60 countries in our association. We would like you to voice your stories or concerns on how the pandemic has impacted your bronchoscopy practice at https://www.wabip.com/voice Last but not least, we ask you to read and consider the recommendations on bronchoscopy in COVID-19 by AABIP, a member of the WABIP. Start reading at https://aabronchology.org/2020/03/12/2020-aabip-statement-on-bronchoscopy-covid-19-infection The WABIP reiterates as stated in these recommendations that, in general, bronchoscopy should have: 1) a limited role, and 2) should not be used to either rule in or rule out COVID-19 infections. Other indications for bronchoscopy in general should continue as needed. We are thankful to be a part of this ever-growing IP community, and privileged to collaborate with each and every one of you. Thank you for your continued support. WABIP
