Last week, over 500 attendees from over 40 nations gathered in Rochester Minnesota for the 2018 WCBIP world congress. And it was a grand success. Our sincerest gratitude and thanks go to congress president Dr. Eric Edell and his Mayo Clinic CME team, for putting together a highly comprehensive scientific program and lively social activities that will be remembered and cherished for years to come.

On the highest of notes, our Rochester congress has come to a close. Subsequently, a new term has begun for board members, committee members and other positions of leadership in the WABIP. It is the honor of this office to introduce the Executive Board roster for 2018-2020, as follows:

With combined decades of experience as successful leaders in our field, the WABIP Executive Board will continue to accomplish our organization's mission and goals in advancing patient care, research, and education in bronchology, interventional pulmonology and related areas.

There will be an announcement on various committee openings soon. Keep an eye out for this announcement and APPLY to have the chance to be front and center in the vital activities of our organization.
