Dear Endoscopic Ultrasound Section Members,

We are now accepting applications for three new Section Chair positions within the World Association for Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology (WABIP) Endoscopic Ultrasound section. These positions present an exceptional opportunity to shape and enhance the scope and reach of our association in the domain of endoscopic ultrasound technology.

Our section is focused on expanding and enhancing knowledge and technical skills amongst physicians regarding endoscopic ultrasound devices, which are pivotal in the diagnosis and staging of lung cancer. We seek individuals who are enthusiastic about working towards this vision and are ready to commit their time and energy to fulfill the role of a Section Chair.

As a Section Chair, your responsibilities would include:

• Coordinating Section Member Activities: This involves organizing and managing exciting activities such as 'Cases of the Month,' webinars, workshops, and other programs proposed by the Chairs and members.
• Developing and Implementing Strategic Plans: You will play an essential role in developing and executing plans to enhance the use and understanding of endoscopic ultrasound devices.
• Collaborating with Other Section Chairs: Working closely with other section chairs to ensure a harmonious and productive working relationship between the different branches of the WABIP.
• Community Engagement: Facilitating engagement within the community of physicians and patients to promote awareness and knowledge about endoscopic ultrasound devices.

Candidates should have a strong background in interventional pulmonology, endoscopic ultrasound, and demonstrated leadership skills. They should be passionate about advancing the knowledge and skillset of physicians and contributing to patient education.
